"Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn't matter to me... Going to bed at night saying we've done something wonderful...that's what matters to me." - Steve Jobs, on Gates and Microsoft, Wall Street Journal, summer 1993
I had a dream when I first went to graduate school. I planned to get an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Computer Science in 3 years from Texas Tech, having so called top 90 engineering program in the nation, and then get another PhD in Electrical Engineering in another 2 years from somewhere else, like UT (When I say UT, T means Texas, and UT means UT Austin.)
Now, since I wasted a year on searching a girlfriend, I have to add one more year for this crazy plan. Today, I saw the CV of a guy in Ole Miss.
Oh my gosh, he is my idol. He made it! He is an American hero! Look at his CV: john.cs.olemiss.edu/~ychen/cv/yixin-cv.pdf
If he can make it, I can make it. President Obama said: Hope. Yes, we can!
I wanna be a guy like him. Most of the fields where he works are also my interests.
I guess I can find a girlfriend when I have two PhDs. O/w, God do (not "does", this is not a grammar error) not want me to get married.
PS: This is a link to HTML'ed page of his PDF CV at Google: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=html&cd=16&url=http%3A%2F%2...
